If one sees himself swallowing a coin of money in a dream, it means that he will betray his trust. Money in a dream is also interpreted as knowledge, faith, guidance, or becoming a government employee. Giving money away in a dream means dispelling agony, difficulties or burdens. If one receives money in his dream, it means that he is entrusted with something. Handling one to four coins in a dream is a lucky number. Money in a dream is also interpreted as women’s talk. Having a lot of money in a dream means disputes. Receiving money from a known source in a dream means stress. If the source is unknown in the dream, it means a calamity. If one receives an engraved coin in a dream, it means that he may be hurt by his own family, or for the sake of a protege of his. If one sees a deceased person giving him a coin of money in a dream, it means that he will be spared from an unjust trial. If he refuses to take the money from the deceased person in the dream, it means that he should beware not to be unjust toward others or fall prey to their injustice. If one who has ten coins finds that he only has five coins in the dream, it means that he will lose accordingly. Money exchanger Dream Explanation — In a dream, a money exchanger represents knowledge, poetry, speaking the right words, richness after poverty, a school, the fellowship of a wise man, or a scale. In a dream, a money exchanger also could represent someone who has knowledge, though no one benefit from what he knows except in mundane matters. If one buys gold coins and gives silver money in exchange in a dream, it means reparation, financial obligations or liability. Seeing a money exchanger in a dream also represents wealth, or quick richness from suspicious sources, or he could represent an accountant, a bookkeeper, or a ledger keeper.

Wallet Dream Explanation — (Money bag; Money belt; Money pouch; Purse) A wallet in a dream means getting married or begetting a son. A wallet in a dream also represents money placed in a wallet, or it could represent a key. If one’s wallet falls in a sea or in a river, it means loss of one’s capital at the hand of people in authority. If it falls into a fire, it means losing one’s money to a greedy, envious and an unjust person. It is also said that one’s wallet in a dream could represent his body. If one’s wallet is taken away from him in a dream, it means his death. Carrying a money belt in a dream means having knowledge one has earned in the first half of his life. If it contains some change only in the dream, it means that one has to pursue the path of knowledge and further his studies.


Petroleum – Or Naphta, Crude Oil Dream Explanation — For the ancient Arabs this mineral symbolized the haram  (money) or money obtained by unholy means and constituting a sin and the debauched woman who corrupts others. Some interpreters regarded it as money earned the hard way or simply trouble and worries for its being difficult to swallow or digest. Dreaming of naphta being poured on someone: Harm from the ruler or higher authorities.

• Having a big belly:  (1) Plenty of money, children, et cetera.  (2) Usury.  (3) The dreamer has spent his money on sins, feels sorry about it, and would like to expiate.

• Having a small belly without feeling hungry: Dearth of resources. If the dreamer felt hungry, it would mean that he is careful with money and will obtain as much money as the hunger he felt in the dream.

• The belly getting small: The dreamer has too many things.

• Feeling full: The dreamer is loaded.

• Crawling on the belly: The dreamer relies too much on money.

• Having pain in the stomach: The dreamer’s household and relatives are in good health.


Cheese Dream Explanation — Cheese means easy money or money and comfort. But wet cheese is better than dry cheese. It also symbolizes a fertile year. Dry cheese refers to a journey. A piece of cheese is a whiff of money. Dreaming of eating cheese with bread predicts a sudden ailment.


Scorpion Dream Explanation — The scorpion is among the metamorphosed. It used to be a human being but was cursed, according to religious belief. • Scorpions in one’s stomach: Enemies from among relatives.

• Eating raw scorpion meat: Will acquire dirty money from an enemy who talks much about people—money enamating from an inheritance or some other source.
